I use a Vetrolaser (cold laser) to treat pinpoint areas of inflammation.  The laser helps to increase blood flow to the affected area and stimulate healing.  There is no risk of injury to the tissues with proper use.  The value of such a laser is to target a specific area of trauma and not affect surrounding areas of tissue.
